Tata Steel Kalinganagar Starts Robotic System for it s Wagon Tippler Operation

Jamshedpur, July 23: Tata Steel Kalinganagar, the state-of-the-art steel plant located in Jajpur District of Odisha, has introduced a new Robotic system for its Wagon Tippler operation.

The tippling operations at the Raw-material Handling System of the steel plant, involves critical activities like decoupling, coupling, rotation and CBC alignment of wagon through manual intervention at inhaul and outhaul side.
